Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu Kids Curriculum

7 to 13 (Youth)

Here at Myers' Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu Academy we focus on teaching our students practical self-defense daily. Students gain confidence from learning how to protect themselves. Students are taught philosophies on healthy lifestyles, leadership skills, and virtues that build character. All students are encouraged to support one another. Our dojo is always working to empower all of our students and our community.

Adult Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu Lessons

13 and above.

MKJJA teaches Ed Parker's American Kenpo and Gracie Jiu-jitsu. Both are proficient styles of self defense, and are taught in all classes. Mrs. Myers was promoted to 1st Black Belt by Clint Hughes of Richard "Huk" Planas' lineage, and she is currently a 3rd Black studying with Mohamad Tabatabai.

Myers' Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu Daily Schedule

We are still offering classes! Due to the Indiana Governor's "Stay at Home" executive order Phase 3 we are now offering our regularly scheduled classes in conjunction with virtual classes. The curriculum has been modified so that we may continue in a fun and safe manner. Myers' Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu Academy is proud of its entire curriculum. It has been created to ease the learning process. Ninjas can graduate right into the Youth Program and youths that complete the Youth Program have the material to test for 3rd Degree Brown belt at the Adult level. This way, they do not have to feel they are graduating back to a white belt and having to start all over again.
